We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Software Developer (C#, .NET) to join our Manufacturing Information Services Support department in Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing-based IS systems at Philip Morris USA manufacturing located in Richmond, VA.

Specific accountabilities include:

• Providing leadership to deliver Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integrated solutions

• Designing and implementing IS solutions following IS Manufacturing Standards and industry best practices

• Communicating complex technical information to business customers and project teams in an effective and concise manner

• Working effectively at different levels within project teams and client organizations to understand business needs and define strategic solutions

• Managing multiple priorities in a changing environment

• Developing and mentoring project members

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years of proven IS development experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

• Technical skills:

o Data and system architecture (Database design, ER diagrams, etc..)

o Object oriented analysis and design techniques

o Strong organization and documentation skills

o Programming languages (C#, ASP.NET, Transact-SQL, SQL Execution Plan Optimization, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3)

o Knowledge of single page application development using libraries like Bootstrap and Kendo UI

o o Knowledge of plant floor control systems preferred

o Experience with RESTful service architecture

• Highly motivated, autonomous work ethic

• Ability to learn new skills and technologies
