We are currently seeking a highly qualified Lead Network Security Analyst to join our Global Threat Management and Security Operations (GTMSO) department in Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide technical leadership developing, implementing, and overseeing the subsequent operational delivery of network security solutions projects. Ensuring business objectives are met, compliance with Altria internal policies and standards, as well as legal and regulatory standards, are maintained.

• Lead the governance and technical oversight of suppliers delivering network security services; ensuring defined objectives and expectations are met. To include service management (Incident, Change, Request), delivery issues management, SLA management, development and review of contract documents, purchase order management, and other supplier management tasks as required.

• Engage with internal stakeholders and third party suppliers on the operation and functionality of deployed security technologies and processes covering all level of network and IT security controls. With a focus on maturing Altria's Cloud Security Operations within cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Serve as an active member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and participate in security incident response efforts

• Represent GTMSO organization in a wide array of IS application and infrastructure projects requiring broad knowledge of security.

• Accurately compile and deliver timely reporting and metrics to the IT Risk Intelligence and Reporting group in accordance with published submission schedule.

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline preferred.

• 6+ years IT experience with 5+ years of Network Security operations experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with layer 3-7 network security technologies

• 3+ years’ experience providing oversight of managed security services providers

• Experience successfully functioning as Technical Lead on large enterprise projects; including working on a cross-functional team in an outsourced environment, managing resources, priorities, and schedules as well as successfully transitioning solutions to support.

• Expert understanding of networking technologies and network security controls; including Forescout CounterACT Network Access Control, Bluecoat/Symantec Proxy technology, Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower firewalls, FireEye appliances, Network IPS/IDS, and SSL Interception.

• In depth understanding of project management and SDLC methodologies; to include development and review of key project documentation such as Requirements, Test Plans, Design Documents, Project Plans, etc.

• Experience in, and knowledge of security incident response and incident handling techniques.

• Broad knowledge and understanding of IT security concepts, defense-in-depth practices, IT technologies, Operating Systems and Applications platforms; including Security Incident and Event Management systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) certification and vendor technology certifications desired.
