We are currently seeking a highly qualified Specialist Equipment-Mechanical to join our maintenance department in Clarksville, Tennessee. The successful candidate primary role will be responsible for providing installation, technical support and optimization of machinery in support of engineering initiatives to meet manufacturing business objectives. Apply specific mechanical or process knowledge and technology to analyze troubleshoot machinery problems in support of factory maintenance personnel. The candidate will be expected to install service and repair mechanical equipment, components and instrumentation within the manufacturing facility to maintain ongoing operations. Assist in developing and recommending spare parts lists for mechanical components for machinery, technical alternatives, and design improvements. Use specialized knowledge of mechanical/projects of the equipment to enhance process improvements, performance of maintenance personnel by providing formal and informal training, writing maintenance alerts, and developing specialized documentation. Assist in the development and execution of test plans and evaluations. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, estimates, and resource plans. Participate in technical meetings with OEM's to resolve problems or issues with mechanical controls and/or machinery. Applies problem solving techniques to facilitate design improvements for methods, processes, products, systems, documentation, and/or equipment. Provide technical support to Natural Work Teams and other problem solving teams/initiatives.

Specific Skills

Associates Degree or Experience Equivalent in a Technical field preferred, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance and/or Engineering. Strong familiarity with one or more types of production equipment, boilers and air compressors. Have mechanical experience with rotary equipment and distribution systems. Knowledge of engineering concepts, designs, charts and layouts. Strong familiarity with computer equipment and applications such as spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Office, and (CMMS) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. Familiarity with common test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. Must have strong communication skills in order to facilitate prioritization of maintenance activities across multiple manufacturing areas. Must develop partnership with production planning personnel as well as production, engineering, and maintenance management across multiple facility. Determine project scope, specifications and cost estimates for improvements to the plants and remote sites and provide budget projections. Devise project work plans, timelines and assign work to appropriate in-house personnel and/or contractors through BUL or Planner Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments in a multi-tasking environment with tight and changing deadline Must be a Kentucky resident or willing to become a Kentucky resident. Physical Must be able to bend, crawl and climb to inspect equipment. Must be able to handle demanding time constraints. Be able to work on any shift.
