We are currently seeking a highly qualified Specialist Equipment-Electrical/Operator to join our manufacturing department in Clarksville, Tennessee. The successful candidate primary role will be responsible for providing installation, technical support and optimization of machinery in support of engineering initiatives to meet manufacturing business objectives. Specific accountabilities include: •Apply specific electrical/electronic or process knowledge and technology to analyze troubleshoot machinery problems in support of factory maintenance personnel. The candidate will be expected to install, service and repair electrical equipment, components and controls within the manufacturing facility to maintain ongoing operations. •Assist in developing and recommending spare parts lists for electrical components for machinery, technical alternatives, and design improvements. •Use specialized knowledge of electrical controls/PLC of the equipment to enhance process improvements, performance of maintenance personnel by providing formal or informal training, writing maintenance alerts, and developing specialized documentation. •Assist in the development and execution of test plans and evaluations. •Participate in technical meetings with OEM's to resolve problems or issues with electrical controls and/or machinery. • Provide technical support to Natural Work Teams and other problem solving teams/initiatives. •Proficient in all areas of Paper Can operation. Set up, operation and monitoring of department processes to ensure daily production runs are completed as scheduled. •Maintain and repair production machinery and perform preventive maintenance while actively pursuing process improvements in a team base environment. •Maintain electronic documentation for Paper Can including JDE completion and iMaint completion for parts and PM's.•Ensure all QMS compliance, housekeeping and sanitation duties are fulfilled on a daily basis. •Keep management personnel informed regarding facility and personnel items. •Any other duties as assigned by the Business Unit Leader.

Specific Skills

Associates Degree in a Technical field preferred, with a minimum of 5 years experience in Tobacco Machinery Maintenance or Engineering. •Strong familiarity with one or more types of production equipment. •Knowledge of engineering concepts, designs, charts and layouts. •Strong familiarity with computer equipment and applications such as spreadsheets, databases, word processors, and computerized maintenance management systems. •Familiarity with common test, measurement and diagnostic equipment. •Have experience with 3-phases 277/480 volt power distribution systems. •Provide programming for development and troubleshooting of computer based and PLC control systems, Allen Bradley Control Logix family, RSLinx, and RSNetworx. •Have a strong grasp of NFPA 70E ARC Flash ratings and standards. •Broad knowledge of Paper Can operations and processes and/or maintenance/electrical/mechanical experience. •Must be decisive and able to give directions. •Have strong communication skills, both oral and written and ability to mediate between various operations, have excellent problem solving skills. •Possess journeyman mechanical credentials or relevant mechanical maintenance or electrical experience in manufacturing/military environments. •Good computer skills (ie. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.). •Have a high degree of initiative and conscientiousness. •Handle stresses of fast paced environment and shift work. •Must be trustworthy and dependable. •Adapt to changing workforce, Be able to work rotating shifts Must be able to influence and negotiate. •Must be able to work with minimal supervision. •Must have good interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: •Must be able to bend, crawl and climb to inspect equipment. Must be able to handle demanding time constraints. •Be able to work on any shift.
