We are currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Specialist QA to join our quality department in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of Quality System activities across all USSTC facilities to potentially include: Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Program, Document Preparation and Control of Documents Programs, Preparation of Work Instructions, Review of Process Formulation/Analytical Data and Reporting Deviations to Management, Review of Batch Acceptance and Release Programs and Reporting Deviations to Management, Change Control Quality Activities, Execution of Verification and Validation Design and Reporting of Results, Audit Participation and Support. Specific accountabilities include:

* Provide project support for teams in the development of quality systems programs improvements - For example Work Instructions, Review Conformance to Formulas and Specifications, Review Conformance to Quality Systems Requirements.
* Lead individual and provide project support for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) throughout the enterprise.
* Coordinate and execute the automated infrastructure for quality system programs for example IMEP, batch acceptance, records for manufacturing facilities, obtaining samples and gathering results from testing activities.
* Support improvements and/or corrective action items resulting from root cause analysis, effectiveness investigations and verification/validation studies.

Specific Skills

Minimum: Associates degree in Business, Statistics, or Science from a two year college and/or 5 years work experience within a manufacturing environment. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or Science or equivalent work experience. Experience in quality management and/or FDA GMP work experience.

* Some production, manufacturing and laboratory knowledge required.
* Strong problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, innovation and analytical thinking skills.
* Working knowledge of Quality Management System programs. Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of personnel and management throughout the assigned facilities.
* Travel required to all US Smokeless Tobacco facilities. Must be able to perform duties in a manufacturing environment (Lift equipment, work in a dusty environment, etc.) and in the general office area.
