Philip Morris Capital Corporation’s role is to responsibly maximize financial contributions to Altria Group from our existing portfolio of assets which are comprised primarily of transportation, real estate, power generation and manufacturing equipment leased to large U.S. and foreign based entities. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Temporary Professional to join our Asset & Portfolio Management Department for the Summer of 2012 in Stamford, CT.

The successful candidate will assist the Asset & Portfolio Management Department in its responsibilities.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Assisting in analysis preparation to evaluate the impact of potential asset sales
* Assisting in valuation modeling and preparation of annual credit reviews of our lessees
* Assisting our legal function in organizing documents for marketing purposes and following up on outstanding invoices
* Participating in special projects as required

Specific Skills Qualifications include:

We are looking for students who possess superior analytical, written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Qualified candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or Economics. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required and familiarity with computerized systems is desired.

To qualify for our internship position, the student must be in their sophomore or junior year, with good academic standing at his or her university. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is desired. The term of the summer internship will be approximately twelve weeks.

Candidates must pass a drug-screen and background check prior to employment. Pay for our internship position is commensurate based on student’s status in school and experience.
