Altria Client Services’ role is to provide high quality services to the Altria family of companies. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources department in Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will support the administration of annual and on-going compensation programs including merit, incentive, and equity programs across the Altria family of companies. Specific responsibilities include:
* Supporting the eligibility, funding, and award calculation processes for compensation programs

* Supporting the administration of the stock programs (grants, vestings, vendor management, etc.)

* Identifying and implementing program and process improvements

* Providing data and analysis for Compensation Committee materials

* Supporting mergers and acquisition activity from a transactional and administrative perspective

* Leading and/or participating in other compensation projects as defined

* Acting as a consultant to other members of the compensation department in the area of program design and administration

Specific Skills Qualifications include:
* A Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant business discipline, plus a minimum of five years of relevant compensation experience

* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in compensation principles and practices including program design and administration

* Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access preferred

* Experience in applying complex mathematical and/or statistical methodologies for data compilation and analysis; high level of attention to detail

* Excellent project management and leadership skills with proven ability to share information and lead the work of others on a project basis

* Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills and high level of professionalism

* Strong written communication and presentation skills

* Demonstrated ability to handle highest level of confidential information and interact with all levels of management

* SAP HR systems experience preferred
