Philip Morris USA’s role is to responsibly and effectively develop, manufacture and market superior branded cigarettes and smokeless products for adult tobacco consumers. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Compliance and Quality System Specialist to join our Quality Systems department in Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will identify, develop, lead and coordinate activities to effectively integrate Compliance, Quality Systems requirements into associated business process. Provides a consistent focus to prevent and detect compliance risks, meet regulatory and Quality System requirements.

Specific Accountabilities

• Lead/participate on functional area or cross-functional area development teams, as the functional area representative to define the requirements for Compliance, Quality System and associated business processes.
• Identify issues relating to the management of Compliance, Quality System and associated business processes.
• Coordinate the implementation of Compliance, Quality System initiatives for the functional area.
• Lead or coordinate functional area initiatives for the development of programs/processes that meet or exceed the requirements for Compliance, Quality System and associated business processes.
• Analyze compliance and/or business process measures of effectiveness and report on the performance of the function area against Compliance, Quality Systems and associated business process requirements.
• Defines and interprets the impacts of new/revised Compliance, Quality System and associated business process requirements for the functional area (resources, implementation, related changes, etc.).
Specific Skills Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years with at least one year dealing with regulatory, compliance and/or quality issues.
• Detailed knowledge of the relationship between the functional area business process and associated infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and apply structured problem solving techniques.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
