Altria Client Services’ role is to provide high quality services to the Altria family of companies. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Training Specialist to join our Compliance Institute in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will design, develop, deliver and support compliance training. Specific accountabilities include:
• Providing project management leadership to business functions that develop and execute compliance training • Developing change management and communication strategies for new training implementations • Partnering with business functions on training vendor selection and assisting with contract/vendor management • Identifying alternative technologies and assisting with application of those technologies to compliance training development and delivery • Identifying and implementing opportunities to build compliance capability across the Altria family of companies • Leveraging knowledge of Altria’s compliance programs to help business functions address strategic initiatives • Staying abreast of both training advances and emerging compliance issues Specific Skills Qualifications include:
• A Bachelor's degree in Education, HR Development, Business, Psychology, or Liberal Arts, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in corporate training or education, preferably in a corporate university environment • Knowledge of adult learning principles and advanced experience in instructional design and blended learning approaches • Proven experience in developing and implementing corporate training, including learning events for executives, salaried and hourly employees • Experience with training development software, especially web-based training software (e.g., Captivate, Outstart, Articulate, etc.) • Proven experience in training evaluation and survey development • Highly developed project management, change management, vendor management skills • Excellent skills in written and oral communications, presentation and facilitation, research, consulting, and analysis NOTE* Altria Client Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other legally protected characteristic.
