We are currently seeking a highly qualified Communication Specialist to join our manufacturing optimization area. The individual in this position will implement factory communication processes and deliver workforce development products (org. size approx. 300 salaried & 1,800 hourly). This includes executing PM USA Manufacturing-wide internal employee communication and engagement activities.

Specific accountabilities include:

* Lead the delivery of PM USA Manufacturing communication products and workforce development events in alignment with annual game plan strategies
* Develop and maintain communications vehicles (face-to-face, print, electronic/web, closed circuit television for delivering PM USA Manufacturing-wide communication products
* Effectively manage projects and facilitate cross-factory teams in development of new communication infrastructure
* Developing and coaching of hourly project teams in alignment with annual communication and engagement campaigns
* Create and manage communication content in collaboration with department management and other Altria / ALCS functions
* Identify and manage relationships with internal and external service providers to integrate best practices into factory communication activities
* Managing and tracking budgets as appropriate

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:

* Experience with communications and staff development in a Manufacturing environment or equivalent relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Capability to provide oversight and planning of communication and staff development events
* Superior interpersonal communications and ability to execute with a high level of energy and self-direction
* Comprehensive understanding of communication platforms and support infrastructure
* Other specific professional technical skills (photography, video/audio production, graphic design)
